Cheaper than chips update: 3-6-13

B:  porridge, banana and yoghurt
L:  Roasted tomato and lentil soup, satsuma
D:  I splashed out and bought a couple of slices of ham that definitely put me into the over £1.50 bracket (just), but mmmm, very nice.  And a salad.
Sn:  Satsuma
Dr:  coffee and water

The roasted tomato soup was simple.  Just open two tins of chopped tomatoes and pout into a roasting dish.  Drizzle over some olive oil and roast until there are a few black bits showing.  Then boil up with some onion, chopped tomatoes, stock, herbs and seasoning and red lentils.  I always add some sugar to sweeten the tomatoes.  Then zizz until the texture you want, adjust the seasoning, etc.  This made eight portions.  Guess what I'm having for lunches this week
