Another photo or two

I will get back to recipes, promise!

A wholemeal sourdough loaf, proved overnight in the fridge (in a small pudding bowl lined with a muslin and well floured) which seems to be the way to go as it baked very nicely this morning from cold.

It certainly smells good!


  1. Is this the sourdough that people have to take on holiday with them because the basis of it needs more tlc than having a pet?

  2. Perhaps, it wouldn't surprise me. However, they could quite easily leave it unfed in the fridge for several weeks without doing it any harm! :-)
