Cheaper than chips menu: 12-7-13

Breakfast:  porridge with banana and yoghurt
Lunch:  Digestive biscuits with butter and  jam, fresh fruit
Dinner: a freezer meal followed by pineapple and yoghurt

Drinks:  decaf, herbal tea and water
Snack:  playtime fruit

  1. When I was a child, my grandparents made for cheap lunch pasta with cheese or local fruits (like strawberries or apples).
    Today, when meat is more and more expensive in my country, I make often pancakes and meal from potatoes. Potatoes are also healthy, because they have potassium and vitamines B.

  2. Hello, Zim, thank you for the comment. Nowadays fruit like strawberries and apples are no longer a cheap option unless you grow your own. How do you make potato pancakes - they sound interesting.
